What UGC creator tracking software costs in 2026

Published prices for the tools brands use to track creator posts, from free tiers to enterprise contracts, and which ones make you talk to sales before quoting a number.

Updated September 8, 2026

Pricing in this category is unusually hard to compare, because half the vendors will not publish a number and the other half meter on different units. Here is what the tools actually cost in 2026, with the units they bill on.

Three things the table hides

The unit matters more than the number

A tool that meters on tracked creators punishes you for a wide roster of small accounts, which is exactly the shape of a consumer app UGC programme. A tool that meters on tracked posts punishes volume instead. A tool that meters on seats is priced for a marketing team, not a founder. Work out which unit you generate most of before comparing headline prices.

Free is rarely free

The marketplaces that bundle tracking at no platform fee fund it by taking a percentage of what you pay creators. If you are spending $10,000 a month on creator payouts, a 10% cut is $1,000 a month for the tracking you thought was free. That can still be the right deal, but it is not a free tier.

There is very little between $0 and $99

The category has a floor, and the tools built specifically for UGC campaign tracking sit right on it: Shortimize and viral.app both open at $99, UGC Trackr at $150. Below that you are looking at spreadsheets, marketplace-bundled tracking, or nothing. This is a real gap: a founder running 30 creators has the same tracking problem as a brand running 300, at a fraction of the budget.

What you should expect to pay

For a solo founder or a small team running 15 to 100 creators, anything above roughly $250 a month is priced for a different buyer. The functionality you need, which is knowing whether people posted and which posts worked, is not the expensive part of these platforms. Creator discovery databases and enterprise reporting are.

A useful sanity check: if you pay creators $2 per thousand views across five million views a month, that is $10,000 in payouts. Tooling at 1 to 3% of payout spend is reasonable. Tooling at 25% is not.

Note on sources

Prices are the vendors' own published figures as of September 2026, or, where pricing is gated behind a sales call, the figures reported by procurement data aggregators. Demo-gated vendors change pricing without announcement, so treat the bottom half of the table as an order of magnitude rather than a quote.
